Ticket Terms & Conditions
Thank you for registering for the First National Private Practice Social Work Summit, presented by Ashton Hayes & Co Consulting and GBY (Guided By You) Therapy. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Ticket Purchase
Your registration is confirmed once full payment has been received.
All ticket prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Tickets are issued to the registered attendee and may not be transferred without prior written approval from the event organisers.
2. Early Bird Pricing
Early Bird pricing is available until 30 September 2026, unless sold out earlier.
Following this date, standard ticket pricing will apply.
3. Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds
As this event requires significant advance planning and financial commitments to venues, suppliers, speakers, catering and event partners, refunds will not be provided for change of mind.
Refund requests will only be considered where extenuating circumstances prevent attendance and must be submitted in writing to the event organisers.
Refunds will be considered as follows:
• More than 90 days prior to the event: Refund requests may be considered where extenuating circumstances exist. If approved, the refund will be processed less a $50 administration fee.
• Within 90 days of the event: No refunds will be provided, including for extenuating circumstances, due to financial commitments already incurred by the organisers.
Where possible, attendees who are unable to attend are encouraged to transfer their registration to another person. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing no later than 14 days prior to the event and are subject to approval by the event organisers.
If the event is cancelled by the organisers and cannot be rescheduled, attendees will receive a full refund of the ticket purchase price. No administration fee will apply in this circumstance.
The organisers are not responsible for travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by attendees in relation to the event.
4. Event Changes
The organisers reserve the right to amend the event program, speakers, venue, schedule or event format where reasonably necessary.
Should circumstances outside the organisers' control require the event to be postponed, all purchased registrations will automatically transfer to the new event date.
5. Program and Speakers
Every effort will be made to deliver the published program; however, speakers, topics and session times may change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
Such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.
6. Photography and Videography
Photography, videography and audio recording may occur throughout the event.
By attending, you consent to the use of photographs, video recordings and audio recordings that may include your image or likeness for promotional, educational, marketing and future event purposes across print, digital, website and social media platforms.
If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify the event organisers upon arrival. While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate your request, this cannot be guaranteed in all event spaces.
7. Delegate Conduct
The First National Private Practice Social Work Summit is committed to providing a safe, respectful, inclusive and professional environment for all attendees.
Delegates are expected to treat fellow attendees, speakers, exhibitors, community partners, venue staff and organisers with courtesy and respect.
Harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, abusive behaviour or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the event without refund.
8. Professional Responsibility
Content presented throughout the summit is intended for educational and professional development purposes only.
Delegates remain responsible for exercising their own professional judgement and ensuring any information, resources or strategies discussed are implemented in accordance with relevant legislation, employer requirements, registration obligations and the AASW Code of Ethics where applicable.
9. Community Partners and Exhibitors
The presence of exhibitors, sponsors or Community Partners does not constitute endorsement of their products, services or opinions by the event organisers.
Delegates are encouraged to undertake their own due diligence before purchasing products or engaging services.
10. Accessibility and Dietary Requirements
The organisers are committed to providing an inclusive event experience.
Delegates are encouraged to advise any accessibility requirements, dietary needs or reasonable adjustments during registration. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate requests notified before registration closes.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected during registration will be used for event administration, communication regarding the summit and post-event follow-up.
By registering, you consent to receiving communications from the event organisers regarding this event and future professional development opportunities. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.
Personal information will not be sold or disclosed to third parties, except where required for the administration of the event or by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ashton Hayes & Co Consulting, GBY (Guided By You) Therapy and the event organisers accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, damage, theft, delay, cancellation, personal property loss or expenses incurred by attendees in connection with the event.
